Jarrow Citicoline (CDP Choline)

Citicoline (stabilized CDP Choline) is a naturally-occurring intermediate involved in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, a major constituent of the grey matter of brain tissue (~25-30%).

Citicoline appears to increase phosphatidylcholine, a brain chemical. Citicoline may also increase the levels of other chemicals in the brain that send messages. It was initially used as a medication to help improve memory and brain function following a stroke.
