    I am 52yrs and i have fine lines on the forehead and crow feet.I also have thyroid issues and high levels of bad cholesterol.I dont take statins. What can you recommend?

      Hello Karen,
      In order to be able to assist you correctly, it would be good to know your thyroid status. Is it Hypothyroidism (low thyroid) or Hyperthyroidism(high thyroid hormone).
      Based on the statement, bad cholesterol, I am suspecting it is low thyroid. Are you on any medications like Levothyroxine or any thyroid medications? Are you diabetic or pre-diabetic? Are you fully menopausal?

      In the case of Hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormone)

      The commonest cause of hypothyroidism is an autoimmune disorder called Hashimoto’s disease and here are the commonest signs and symptoms:

    • Fatigue and sluggishness
      Increased sensitivity to cold
    • Constipation
    • Pale, dry skin
    • A puffy face
    • Brittle nails
    • Hair loss
    • Enlargement of the tongue
    • Unexplained weight gain
    • Muscle aches, tenderness and stiffness
    • Joint pain and stiffness
    • Muscle weakness
    • Excessive or prolonged menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia)
    • Depression
    • Memory lapses
      The first MUST HAVE supplement is Selenium [Read References (1, 2, 3)]. This is a must have. You should also add zinc picolinate and Iron.
